运河倒映着两岸色彩鲜艳的建筑物。这些建筑都是些餐馆,酒吧或café。坐到其中的一间,品味了当地的海鲜美食。

The Christianities live in specially designed houses, in others word they built their own houses with their creativity, colours and weird crazy shapes. There are a variety of interesting stores in Christiania built from scratch with recycled materials selling food, hippy clothes, manufacture bicycles, make small furnaces, souvenirs etc. Dogs are everywhere amongst these colourful houses and cottages. There are lots of bushes and a river in this area. Soft drugs are allowed in Christiania and sold openly (mostly marijuana and Hash). No cars, no hard-drugs, no violence and no photograph (in Pusher Street of Christiania coz they don’t want to feel like animals in the zoo. We took some photos for buildings and the surrounding areas, not of disrespect but in a way to support what they stand for, the ‘freedom’).
The Gefion fountain is a monument where Gefion swings her whip over the oxen. The backs of the oxen swell under the strain and water sprays up from behind the wheels and the plough. This gives an incredible feature of strength and fortitude. It’s really a beautiful and splendid place.
The bronze statue of the mermaid is significantly smaller than we expect and it was a little disappointing. Photographs and postcards make her look more exciting than her actually size is. She is sitting on a rock at the water's edge with sadly looks out at the sea. She has been vandalised few times in the past but is regularly restored. She is extremely popular and there was quite a huge crowd on the day we visited her. Some people even go out to the rock where she is sitting to have a picture with her (including me and my friends). Although she is smaller than I thought but she is pretty and very nice. The LITTLE Mermaid and yes, it is very LITTLE.
We enjoy our visit to Tivoli at night. Hundreds of hundreds of lights on at night are really visually spectacular and creating romantic atmosphere. There are delightful mixes of ferries wheels, merry-go-rounds, the Tower of Terror, bumper cars, roller coasters, pirate ship, shooting galleries, open-air entertainment (live bands), sweets stalls and etc. line the paths winding through the park. Restaurants and beautiful flower gardens also abound throughout the park. Although there aren't a massive amount of rides and we didn’t ride on any rides but the atmosphere is so wonderful.
