Our first meal in Munich was at a Traditional Bavarian Restaurant located near S-Bahn, Marienplatz. The restaurant looked a bit touristy but is a charming and lovely dining place. Since we do not speak German, the waitress who dressed in style clothes helped us with the menu. I tried roasted pork knuckle, Suay Hwa tried roasted suckling pig and Michelle enjoyed the Munich’s Sauerbraten. We also had the Weissbier (wheat beer) and it tasted good.

1. Roasted Suckling Pig in a special beer sauce with potato dumpling and cabbage salad.
2. Roasted Pork Knuckle, very crispy with a potato dumpling and cabbage salad.
3. Munich’s Sauerbraten, pickled and boiled beef with a special sauce, bread dumpling and mixed salad.
